A new systematic review published in the Journal of Clinical and Aesthetic Dermatology highlights an important point: when it comes to Vitamin C, formulation matters.
Rather than simply looking at whether a product contains Vitamin C, the review found that factors such as the Vitamin C derivative, formulation, stability and delivery system all influence clinical performance.
The review also discusses lipophilic Vitamin C derivatives, including Tetrahexyldecyl Ascorbate (THDA) and Ascorbyl Tetraisopalmitate (ATIP), for their role in supporting healthy-looking skin.
Revision Skincare's C+ Correcting Complex 30%® is formulated with THD Ascorbate, reflecting the brand's commitment to advanced formulation science.
